Concept of Boso View Express (BVE) is a train simulator, which is more realistic train driving than D*ns*a de Go! or other train simulator software. History of the BVE had been started since 1996, there were no train driving simulator for personal computer in the world at that period. There are not enough static scenery such as houses or trees, or dynamic scenery such as moving train. But the reaction of the train when you operate is perfect. It is not a game anymore!! Good point is you can create your route file as you want. (Your favorite route, virtual train route, and etc...)

EP-2009 locomotive simulator

The full functional simulator with the six degrees of freedom motion system of the EP09 electric locomotive for the Polish State Railways is meant for training and exercise train driving skills in normal and malfunction situations and also training drivers to behave in emergencies and dangerous events. (This is the Ultimate train simulator, if you have very deep pockets. It would be cheaper to buy a real locomotive...)
When I added this link in 2000, the graphics looked very advanced. Now you can have ones that look quite close to these with Train Simulator. Of course you won't have the full motion simulator this version offers.

NXSYS is an application for modern versions of Microsoft® Windows® that recreates for you the experience of controlling switches, signals, and trains in the New York City Subway system. Rather than conventional menus and toolbars, NXSYS presents to you the exact same user interface as so-called "Entrance-Exit" "pushbutton interlockings" present to New York City subway towerpersons, except that instead of pressing buttons with your finger, you click with the mouse.
