We have been in business for fifty-one years, starting out as Park Ridge Hobbies, then Bill's Hobby Shop, and in 1970, we became Hill's Hobby and Collectors' Shop. Hill's Hobby Shop is a 5000+ square foot playground for kids of all ages and carries a wide variety of items for Remote Control drivers, Model Rocketeers, and of course, toy and model trains in every gauge. We strive to put the best seasonal merchandise front and center to make our store the top family destination for every season. In the warm Chicago summer months, we carry kites and gliders for the entire family, from our special mini-kites to a rocket powered remote control glider, we do our best to have it all so no one is disappointed. And for our hobbyists of the little girl variety, we carry fun and brain teasing puzzles, paint and craft projects. For the collector, we are always on the lookout for rare and unusual treasures of any collectible nature including used toy trains, matchbox, hot wheels, tin toys and die cast. One never knows what treasure is waiting in our ever-changing collection for sale.
