Most of our signals come in kit form and require some basic modeling skill to assemble. We currently offer two of our kits build-up ready to install. All of our kits feature LEDs as the light source. Lids are smaller and less expensive that conventional light bulbs. They run on 2.1 volts dc and use only 20 milliamps of current. They are very sensitive to voltage and will not sustain a higher voltage for any length of time. Detection systems that are designed for LEDs output the correct voltage. Otherwise we suggest you use an independent regulated power supply to drive your signals if you're not using conventional detection. We supply resistors with our kits if you want to use a 12 volt dc power source
