Maryland - Baltimore Society of Model Engineers
Baltimore, MD - The Baltimore Society of Model Engineers is a model railroad club located in Baltimore Maryland, formed in March 1932. We have the largest permanent display in the mid-Atlantic region, with 2500 square feet of steam and diesel freight and passenger trains as well as trollies and interurban running from the overhead wire. We are the oldest exclusively model railroad club in the United States and the third oldest modeling society in the world!
The BSME layouts and offices are located on the third floor of 225 West Saratoga Street, Baltimore, Maryland.
The society operates both HO & O Scale layouts.

Frederick, MD - Frederick County Society of Model Engineers, HO Scale Model Railroading
The F.C.S.M.E. club is located on East Patrick Street in Frederick, Maryland near the Great Frederick Fairgrounds. The members meet most Wednesdays, from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Please contact one of our club officers by Email to schedule a Wednesday visit. The club HO and HOn3 layout is housed in a restored heavyweight Chesapeake & Ohio six-door baggage type car .A G-scale layout is adjacent to the car. The club hosts free open houses several times a year.

The Hagerstown Model Railroad Museum (HMRRM) is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1937 and is active in promoting the hobby to the general public. The HMRRM was formed as a charitable, educational, literary, historical, scientific, and technological society and museum to promote to the public the historical, cultural, and economic importance of railroading to Hagerstown and the surrounding communities.

Maryland - MD TTrak
The MD TTrak group is an informal association of Model Rail aficionados, who get together to encourage one another, demonstrate techniques, brag about recent acquisitions, tell one another lies, and otherwise show off our skills (or lack there-of) to the public and one another. Loosely based in the Maryland DC suburbs, we don’t discourage people from the Eastern Shore, Ballmer, Harford County, Western Maryland, B-Town, Harford County, DC, Virginia, or West-by-God-Virginia, from attending our shows, gabfests, or other events. On Cinco de Mayo, we run Mexican trains, at Oktoberfest- both types of German; East AND West, trolleys, trams, LRV, European, Indian, Australian, vintage AMTRAK, British, French, and Italian rolling stock. We try to get together at least once a month – to keep up with one another’s achievements. (Right) These are ‘come-as-you-are’ events…
