Pennsylvania - Alto Model Train Museum Association
Altoona, PA - Established in July of 2000, our purpose is to revive and introduce the model train hobby to young and old, new and experienced alike. We especially like to introduce children to our hobby, introducing them to the many educational aspects of model trains such as basic electricity, model making and scenery construction.
Our museum operates and maintains numerous full time train layouts in various scales. We also have exquisite and rare examples of model trains on static display, some dating back nearly 80 years. Our latest addition was the invitation to provide the general public access to our hobby by establishing a permanent presence at Lakemont Park, a local amusement park.

Pennsylvania - Anthracite Model Railroad Soceity
Hazleton, PA - The Anthracite Model Railroad Club is an organization located in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, whose primary interest is model railroading in all its various forms. These include everything from the construction of our model railroad pike, to all the different aspects of the hobby - carpentry, electronics, modeling photography, etc. All of these go into the make up of our club's pike and are part of the enjoyment of our hobby. Our main concern however, is the ongoing work to portray in miniature, HO model railroading at its best, with an emphasis on the Hazleton, Pennsylvania area's rail history.
