De Lage Zij
De Lage Zij (The Low Side) is a typical Dutch model railroad. The theme is set in the Midwest of Holland during the sixties. The fictitious town of Zwabberdam plays a leading role in the layout plan. An electrified main line runs through the town. Passengers can change onto a commuter train for Magerveen that is situated in the middle of the polder. The modern electrical trains and the cosy diesels meet in Zwabberdam.
