Alabama, Silverhill - Wales West Light Railway
Silverhill, AL - The Wales West Light Railway is th main attraction for the Train & Garden Lovers Family Park & the RV Resort. If you like trains & gardens this wonderful steam train is sure to delight you. It winds through the park on a mile long track that passes by woodlands, pastures, a lake and many Welsh Victorian style buildings. From the moment you cross the foot bridge over the main line at the entrance to the park you will feel the joy that this unique railway releases in the hearts of children of all ages.
There are 2 main gauges of railway/railroad at WalesWest, the main 2' gauge system & the 7.5" Grand Scale line. Both systems are located within the Train & Garden lovers family park, which surrounds the WalesWest RV resort. The two tracks border each other in many places.
